Tasting notes:
Sourced primarily from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger with fruit from top Côte des Blancs villages, this cuvée blends the 2020 vintage with around 45% reserve wines from the estate’s perpetual reserve. The nose is bright and refined, with citrus, green apple and white flowers, underpinned by chalky minerality. The palate is precise and elegant, showing fine bubbles, layered freshness and a subtle complexity from the reserve wines, leading to a long, saline finish.
Producer description:
Pierre Péters is one of Champagne’s benchmark grower-producers, based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs. Now led by Rodolphe Péters, the estate farms around 20 hectares of Chardonnay across Grand Cru villages, crafting precise, mineral-driven Blanc de Blancs. With a focus on minimal intervention and the use of a historic ‘perpetual reserve’, the wines are renowned for their purity, consistency and finesse.
